About Us

Mrs. Alice Ross is the founder of the Vantage Vision and Vantage Reading programs. Her goal is simple – to help those who can’t read. The Vantage Reading history is an impressive story. Mrs. Ross has an extensive background of over 40 years working with students with learning difficulties.

Mrs. Ross has been employed as a teacher and as a special needs consultant with a school district. She has taught at Cariboo College (now Thompson Rivers University) in Kamloops, B.C., Canada.

Constant change to her programs is the norm, as Mrs. Ross keeps up to date with the latest research in the reading field. Mrs. Ross has worked with thousands of students, teachers, parents, optometrists, and educators in diagnosis and remediation of specific learning disabilities and helping those children and adults who can’t read.

Paul Kipp (M. Ed) is a partner with Mrs. Ross. Mr. Kipp has previous experience as a school principal, a learning assistance teacher, and a classroom teacher.
